Plywood has a modern aesthetic which I love, combined with minimalist design, the simple becomes beautiful. Once the plywood is glued and pinned together, it can be shaped, coloured and varnished.
History
The Pursuit of Modern Furniture Design
Working alone, self taught and always learning, I have been creating furniture since the 1990's. With influences such as online apps and social media, access to tutorials and techniques has never been easier. I like to pride myself on having learned the hard way. From design, to build, to installing all across the country, i've found what works and doesn't work through the process of creating.

Eco-friendly Production
Wherever possible I am using diverted waste birch plywood from a manufacturing process. With the prevolence of CNC machines in modern manufacturing there is a lot of useful wood left over, which can be used to make bespoke furniture. I learned about the concept 'Reduce, Reuse, Recycle' in New York in the 1990's and have applied those ideals ever since.
