Photo Encaustic is a photographic print finishing technique, covering fine art photographs in beeswax and resin. I teach Photo Encaustic workshops to photographers and artists in my studio in U.K, on Skype and via downloadable video.
Artists and photographers can take control of their fine art framing with Photo Encaustic,
a unique, painterly, textured wax finish, will make your photography stand out from the crowd.
We offer 1 or 2 Day Workshops in our 3000 square foot studio, we can accomodate up to 6 students per workshop. Each student will create 2 pieces, either 11" x 14" or 12" x 12" using their own images printed, by me before the workshop.

This is a photo and video diary of my experience of producing the work in U.K and attending the opening for my 5th solo show at Robin Rice Gallery in Greenwich Village, New York. in May 2017. (http://robinricegallery.com) I produced 17 Photo Encaustic pieces for sale with ebony stained mahogany frames.
These are shots of 'Treeblur' 40"x40" commissioned by Ann Benson Reidy, (http://annbensonreidy.com/) a high profile Interior Designer in Denver, Colorado. Ann found my work on SaatchiOnline (http://www.saatchiart.com/petekelly). The piece has been very well received and i'm looking forward to seeing the finished piece in situ.
